Brief Description:  Fuselage assembly #1

After the dimpling session, last night, I moved onto the final assembly of the fuselage,

Clecoed the lower longerons to the F-88 forward fuselage substructure, installed the two screws, installed the four bolts and riveted each lower longeron. Each bolt, screw was torqued and given a touch of torque seal.

I fit the centre section to the forward fuselage assembly. The nutplates were riveted to each mod cabin brace. The mid cabin brace was also riveted, bolted, and torqued as per the plans.

The nuts from the bottom seat ramps supports were removed and the sup0ports were rivted to the F-814 inboard seat rib assemblies. Tight spot.

A bead of proseal was placed on the bottom of the F-815 outboard seat ribs and it was clecoed in place. The aft outboard seat riv was clecoed in place, the spacer sintalled and the bolt installed and torqued. The ribs were then riveted together.

The outboard seatribs were riveted to the bottom skin
